Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles

Every Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle features a minimum 3-month/5,000 km limited Certified Pre-Owned warranty, whichever comes first.Depending on the age and kilometers of your selected vehicle you’ll either get:

1. The remaining manufacturer's New Vehicle Limited Warranty (Base Warranty coverage, no deductible) and, or
2. Coverage under the Certified Pre-Owned Warranty¹. If your budget permits, you can extend or upgrade to an even more comprehensive Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Protection Plan.

You’re covered for most major repair expenses for the term of your warranty.Should your budget permit you can extend or upgrade to an even more comprehensive personally tailored Certified Pre-Owned Protection Plan for added peace of mind².

¹A $100 deductible (plus applicable provincial taxes) per repair visit will apply. If the same covered part causes an assembly to fail again, no deductible will apply to the subsequent failure. ²Warranty is fully transferable should you sell the vehicle while still under the warranty period.

By the time one of our Certified Pre-Owned vehicles reaches the sales floor they have been meticulously looked over by a licensed mechanic and all components have passed our painstakingly detailed inspection. Additionally, all Certified Pre-Owned vehicles must be checked for any safety, emissions, or non-compliance recalls and have had any necessary repairs completed.The 150+ point inspection covers more than twice the number of components on the Manitoba Safety check and includes:

• Engine and transmission operation
• Battery load test
• Fluid and filter conditions
• brake and suspension components
• Ignition system
• Exterior Wear and Tear
• Interior instrumentation and components
• Safety features including active safety features on equipped vehicles
• Vehicle cleanliness

To receive Roadside Assistance, simply call 1-800-268-6800 and a service operator will be dispatched to the scene. If your vehicle can't be repaired onsite, it will be towed to the nearest GM Dealership or GM-authorized repair facility.

YOU’RE COVERED IF

• Your Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle is still within the manufacturer’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty period.
• Your warranty-covered non-GM vehicle doesn’t have a Roadside Assistance Program. We will provide 3 months of 5,0000 km (whichever comes first) of GM Roadside Assistance from your date of purchase.
• Your Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle has less than 3 months and 5,000 km of remaining Manufacturer’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty. General Motors will provide an additional 3 months or 5,000 km, whichever comes first, of GM Roadside Assistance once your remaining Manufacturer’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty expires.

• Emergency Fuel Delivery¹.

• Emergency Tow from a Public Road or Highway to the nearest GM dealer.

¹ Delivery of enough fuel for the vehicle to get to the nearest service station, Diesel fuel may be restricted, and propane and other fuels are not provided. ² A remote unlock may be available if OnStar is active. For security reasons, the driver must present identification and vehicle registration. ³ The spare tire, if equipped, must be in good condition and properly inflated. It is the owner’s responsibility for the repair or replacement of the tire. ⁴ If your trip is interrupted due to a covered failure, incidental expenses may be reimbursed within the Plan term. Must be over 150 km from where the trip was started to qualify. Items considered include reasonable and customary hotel, meals, and rental vehicle expenses with an allowance of up to $190 per day, to a maximum of $500 per incident (plus GST/HST and any applicable taxes). Original detailed receipts and a copy of the repair orders are required. Pre-authorization must be obtained by calling 1-800-268-6800. Once authorization has been received, the Roadside Assistance advisor will assist in making arrangements and review the reimbursement process.

Exchange Privilege

If for any reason you're not completely satisfied with your Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle, you can exchange it within 30 days or 2,500 kilometers — whichever comes first — from the date of purchase for any other eligible Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle.If the purchase price of the replacement vehicle is less than the purchase price of the vehicle being returned, you'll receive credit for the difference. If the purchase price of the replacement vehicle is more, you simply pay the difference.

Eligibility

Unless indicated at the time of sale all Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles are eligible for the Exchange Privilege during the first 30 days or 2,500 kilometres of ownership. However, the exchanged vehicle must be returned in the condition in which it was delivered to the customer, without damage or excessive wear and tear.^*

Vehicle Inspection

Every vehicle returned under the Exchange Privilege will be inspected for damage and excessive wear and tear. If non-warranty repairs equal to or greater than $300 have been performed or are necessary, the vehicle is not eligible to be returned. If less than $300, the damage repair estimate will be deducted from the credit amount applied to the returned vehicle.

Valuation Of The Returned Vehicle

The "Agreed Upon Exchange Value" will be used in determining the refund value to be applied to the replacement vehicle.

Exchange And Wait Provision

If a customer exchanges a vehicle under the Exchange Privilege and waits for a replacement vehicle instead of choosing one from the dealer's available inventory, the selling dealer will not provide alternate transportation or allow a customer to keep the original vehicle while the replacement vehicle is secured.

^*The One Time Exchange Privilege excludes fleet purchased vehicles, vehicles used for daily rental, hearse, taxi, limousine, snowplowing, or delivery services, the customer has previously returned a vehicle under the GM Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles One-Time 30 Day or 2,500 Kilometre Exchange Privilege within a period of 12 months commencing on the return date of that previously returned vehicle, Vehicles that have had after-market accessories installed (e.g., radio or alarm system) unless installation was performed or sublet by the selling GM Certified Pre-Owned Dealer.
