Ensure Everyone Is Safe
Check that everyone involved is safe and contact emergency services if necessary. When safe, move vehicles out of traffic and exchange information with the other drivers.

Report the Collision to MPI
Report the accident to Manitoba Public Insurance as promptly as possible. An MPI representative will take your report, advise whether police reporting is required and determine whether your claim qualifies for Direct Repair.

Book Your Damage Estimate
If MPI confirms your eligibility for Direct Repair, call our Collision Centre at 204-631-5717 or complete our online MPI Direct Repair form to arrange an estimate.
Attend Your Estimate Appointment
Bring your vehicle in for its scheduled assessment. Our advisor will review the completed estimate with you and submit it to MPI. Once approved, we'll order the required parts.
Schedule Repairs & Transportation
When the parts arrive, we'll contact you to schedule repairs and discuss available shuttle service or courtesy vehicle arrangements.
Drop Off Your Vehicle for Repairs
Bring your vehicle in for its appointment. Your advisor will provide progress updates and let you know when repairs are complete and your vehicle has been cleaned and is ready for pickup.
Pick Up Your Repaired Vehicle
Return to our Collision Centre to collect your vehicle. Our team will assist with the final steps before you get back on the road.
